Of course, you can also target the type of collagen best suited to your particular needs. As mentioned above, type 1 collagen is particularly abundant in the skin, tendons, joints, organs, and skeletal structure, type 2 in cartilage, and type 3 in muscles, blood vessels and connective tissue.
